Both You and I are Talented

It's time to fully develop our talents

"For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods."Matthew 25:14
Oh yes. The Kingdom of Heaven. The only destination that I want. A far country, way up in outer space. God and Jesus Christ want you and me there.
See, you and I are travelling. We are God's servants. Are we unequipped? Nope. God has given us goods. He has equipped us with talents.
"And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey." Matthew 25:15.
It doesn't matter how many talents we have. What matters is that we use every single talent we have to glorify God. God has blessed me with the talent of writing. Am I going to write filthy romance novels? Am I going to write literature that goes against the Bible? Nope. After all, why should I help Satan? That sorry punk hates my guts. Ergo, I hate him back. I'm not going to help his evil agenda. I choose to write to glorify God.
"Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents." Matthew 25:16
See, when we use our talent to glorify God, He gives us another one. I can tell you this from my own personal experience. I'm not saying I'm perfect. However, with my talents, I try to glorify God for the most part. Some people may consider me controversial. That's okay. I just want certain people to wake up and stop being blinded by Satan. So I will speak my mind. No apologies. Yes, my goal is to have people check out my talents and then to point them to the Bible. Most of my stuff has a Christian theme to it. With a lot of things I do I speak in symbols.
"But he that had received one went and dug in the earth, and hid his lord's money." Matthew 25:18
Don't hide your talent. Display it for the world to see. It doesn't matter that only a few thousand see your talent. Do you think I get discouraged and boo hoo when only a few thousand see my talents? Do you think I quit just because millions aren't seeing what I do? No way! Who cares that only a few thousand see my talents. At least my work will impact the person. Then the person will be challenged, hopefully to the point of picking up his or her Bible and reading it. And then, hopefully that person will use his or her talent to spread the Bible and uplift God and Jesus Christ. Isn't that a beautiful chain of events?
Yes, both you and I are talented. God created you and me for a reason. We are to use our talents and lead other people to God. Talents are amazing when you see the impact that the Holy Spirit has. Let people see your talents so that the Holy Spirit will impress their hearts! Yay!
